EDUCATIONAL
Where you sit in class really does make a difference.
• Get down & dirty while learning about karst ecosystems and cave conservation!
• Extend the boundaries of your classroom 150 feet underground!
• Encourage problem-solving and team-building!
The closer a student gets to a real, hands-on experience, the deeper their understanding of the lesson. We believe in creative ways of inspiring students to learn. From Fabulous Fossils to the off-trail Caving Adventure Tour, our educational programs are designed to make a positive impact on the students!
At The American Cave Conservation (ACCA), we offer a variety of ways to learn about caves, karst and ground water through the facilities at the American Cave Museum and Hidden River Cave in South Central Kentucky.
In addition to our in-house programs, we also offer:
• outreach programs,
• classroom resources,
• and educator workshops.
